Mother and the Asian Holocaust

Written by Eugene Wei, (Ava Su's Brother):

Our Mother wrote in her diary that she escaped from Nanjing on Nov.23,1937, just a couple of weeks before the rape and slaughter began. If she had not left Nanjing, Ava and I might not have been born. Our Mother had graduated from Ginling Girls' College in 1933 and was married to our father on August 26th 1935 in Nanjing. They owned a piece of property in Jiangning county just outside of Nanjing city walls.

One of the great tragedies of all times was that the government of Japan covered up that part of WWII history not only to the world but also to its own people. Most of the peace-loving younger Japanese people are genuine because they were not taught the true history in school. The strong voice of the right wing government has been in denial of the war crime atrocities all these years. Their ministry of education has been well known to falsify the history of the entire WWII in their high school texts. With more than one million troops occupying most of China from 1937-1945, they had turned the eastern half of heavily populated China into a giant concentration camp without need of walls. Poison gas bombs/ shells and bacteria bombs were used over 1500 locations on the eastern half of China.

Today there are still 2 million rounds of poison chemical bombs / shells / canisters buried or stored in DunHua in Liaoning province in the Northeast. Japan did not acknowledge the existence of these poison chemical shells, but only acknowledged 600,000 rounds in one location. Japan paid lip service so far about cleaning up and destroying these chemical weapons. It would take at least 20 years to destroy 90% of them because many of them were buried in deep valleys or forests since 1945. In Liaoning province alone at least 9 mass graves were found. The book "Rape of Nanking" by Iris Chang was only the tip of the iceberg.

Yes, japanese children were trained to march with bamboo swords in kindergarden. back in the 1930's and 1940's. Some of their soldiers were reluctant to chop off the heads of defenseless prisoners of war (some captured P.O. W.'s were only 12 or 13) but were forced to do it by their officers. Some younger officers competed in the number of heads chopped off in Nanjing and were reported in the Tokyo Daily Shinbun with their pictures showing their long knives in December 1937. The ancient art of "Bushido" had been turned into human killing machines. Japanese soldiers forced teachers and students of the entire school to dig a hole for each of them, forced them to tie their hands behind their backs, then planted them upside down into the holes. They repeated this over and over especially in Shanxi province. In order to force students into submission Japanese soldiers stripped principals naked in North China in the winter, tied them one by one on long benches and poured chilling cold well water on them in front of the students. Did you know that after the famous Doolittle's raid on Tokyo on April 18 1942, the reprisal killing by the central china "Expeditionary Army" of Japanese occupying forces along coastal regions of China totaled 250,000 civilians? The sum total of civilians killed in Doolittle's B-15 squadron only amounted to about 50.
